Cherry blossom magic at the Rosengarten
Cherry blossom magic at the Rosengarten La vie en rose! In the few days from the middle to the end of April, the cherry trees at the Rosengarten are covered over and over in delicate blossoms, making a trip to the park especially worthwhile. The little pink flowers, combined with the fantastic view of Bern’s Old City, make for an incredible photo subject. We have Yoshiyuki Urata from Japan to thank for the magic: an admirer of Bern, he gifted the city 100 cherry trees in 1975. Make sure to check the Rosengarten’s webcam every now and then so you don’t miss anything!
