Would you like to participate in a long-standing Swiss tradition? At the Emmental Show Dairy, visitors can make their own cheese under the expert guidance of the in-house professionals. The cheese is made from 200 litres of raw milk using your bare hands, just like in the olden days! The result is two wheels of cheese that weigh 8 kilograms each and are delivered directly to the company after having matured for 4 months.
Icestocksport at Dählhölzli
Fun and games – and treats: icestocksport (similar to curling) at Bern Animal Park, Dählhölzli is the perfect event for an active team and a great way to spend time together outdoors. While one team tries its hand at icestocksport, the other can enjoy the delicacies: there’s mulled wine, hot punch, roasted chestnuts, and cheese bread made over the fire. The evening is rounded off with dinner in the warm restaurant.
