Touchdown. An exhibition with and about people with Down syndrome

This is the first exhibition telling the story of Down syndrome. The exhibition shows traces of people with Down syndrome from different times, and in different countries. In art and in science.

This exhibition tells the story of people with Down syndrome, how they live today in our society, how they lived in earlier times and how they would like to live in the future. It also shows works by artists with Down syndrome. This exhibition was made by people with, and people without Down syndrome working together. As a team they have developed and are showing the contents.

An exhibition by the Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn, in collaboration with the research project TOUCHDOWN 21, in the Zentrum Paul Klee, Bern.
