19.10.2019 - 23.11.2019 Rendez-vous Bundesplatz

Colourful, inspiring, creative: every year, Rendez-vous Bundesplatz organizes and shows an impressive audiovisual spectacular that leaves its visitors completely and utterly in awe.

Every autumn, the Swiss Parliament Building turns into a huge screen: Rendez-vous Bundesplatz is a half-hour light show that brings over half a million visitors to Parliament Square each year. The audiovisual extravaganza is shown twice a day over the course of several weeks. And the best part is: there’s no admission fee!

The show in 2019 was all about the landing on the moon 50 years ago: “First Step” was a story about space visions, years of preparation, first steps and the astronauts’ and first contact with the surface of the Moon.

Rendez-vous Bundesplatz takes place every evening at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is an additional show at 9:30 p.m. The spectacle lasts about half an hour. For those feeling a bit chilly, we recommend warming up with a cup of hot punch or mulled wine.
