From sporting events and cultural events to large-scale events - the central location is not the only argument in favour of Bern as an event location. The Bern Convention Bureau puts you in touch with the city's key players and provides support during the planning phase.

Anyone with a budget of at least CHF 50,000 will be supported by the Bern Sports Committee in submitting a licence and clarifying financial resources. Fill in the «Sports questionnaire» and we will get back to you.

Hand in hand through the Bernese event summer 2023

«So chas äbä ga, weme zäme redt» (that's how much a good net is worth). The BernPride, the EuroGames, the traditional 1 August celebrations and the IFSC Climbing and Paraclimbing World Championships to be held on the Bundesplatz in the summer of 2023 were successful examples of cooperation between event organisers.
