The popular television series was turned into a musical comedy in 2010, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. This new version took Broadway by storm, and the play was performed over 700 times. On 17 November 2022, the musical theatre will be performed on the stage of the Stadttheater Langenthal, with a live band as well as German dialogue and song lyrics.
