With its unique location right on the Aare river in the quarter "Mattequartier", Cinématte enriches the city’s cultural and gastronomic landscape. This combination of restaurant and cinema is the only one of its kind in Bern.
The Cinématte restaurant offers a small, seasonal menu of modern dishes inspired by French cuisine. Everything is freshly made in-house with no flavor enhancers, prepared using delicate methods.
The focal point is the four-course evening menu. The “Augenschmaus” (feast for the eyes) also offers an elegant combination of dining and cinema. In addition, Cinématte specializes in events for up to 100 people.
