This includes restoring the roof and facades, and the astrolabe is also in need of refurbishment. The Zytglogge will be entirely scaffolded and covered with a printed scaffold net for the duration of the work. The work will take around four months and is expected to be completed in early June 2018. Tours inside the Zytglogge can continue unaffected, but a few individual adjustments may have to be made as a result of construction work.
