The two-day Cyclocross bikefest “Radquer” is being held for the fourth time. The EKZ CrossTour along with the “Allianz Gravel Ride & Race” in Bern will take place from 17 to 18 October 2020 on the grounds of the Freibad Weyermannshaus (the largest outdoor swimming pool in Europe). It’s a fun festival for professionals, bike fans and the whole family.
Radquer is a highlight for all cycling fans and offers two different but equally exciting events. The EKZ CrossTour guarantees thrilling entertainment with its winding 3.25-km course. And no one should miss the “Allianz Gravel Ride & Race” amateur event! The "Ride" format is aimed at hobby biking fans and offers amateur athletes an exciting experience in the Bremgarten forest. Although participants are timed, there is no ranking list. In the "Race" format competitors are ranked according to license and age categories, making it more suited to competitive riders. The 50-kilometre route leads through the federal city of Bern.
Kids and youth can enter the Kids-Cross and race around a section of the pro course and experience what it feels like to be cheered on by enthusiastic spectators. The young competitors can look forward to a fun surprise after the race.
The hobby category "Cross für alle" is, as the name suggests, open to everyone – because cycling is a sport for all. At Radquer, the focus shouldn’t be on victory at all costs but rather relishing the experience of riding on a real professional course.
And if that isn’t enough for you, a streetfood festival provides delicious refreshments and a Velo-Expo offers entertainment apart from the races.
