18.01.2024 - 07.03.2024 Museumsbier (beer at the museum)

It’s a shame, really: museums are usually open during the week when most people are at work. Thanks to the event series «Museumsbier» («beer at the museum») you can now combine your after-work hours with a visit to the museum in a most pleasurable way.

The time has finally come again: From 18 January to 7 March 2024, cultural institutions are extending their opening hours on Thursday evenings, installing a bar and inviting visitors to enjoy a beer at their exhibitions from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Enjoying a "Fübi" (after-work beer) in a museum is almost a tradition in the city of Bern. This year, from 22 February, a museum from the Emmental will also be taking part: Burgdorf Castle. At the following seven institutions, the hoppy drink can be enjoyed with cultural accompaniment:

    The Bernese brewery «BrauKunst» («the art of brewery») has created a special edition just for this event.
