L’Étape Switzerland

L’Étape Switzerland is Switzerland’s first cycling event at which amateur cyclists can compete against each other on largely traffic-free streets and is part of the series L’Étape by Tour de France.

It is the race for all passionate cyclists who want to feel like Tour de France competitors for a day. At L’Étape Switzerland, like-minded athletes compete against each other on largely traffic-free streets and demonstrate what they’re made of – under the same conditions as the pros.

Participants can choose between two routes, “RACE” and “RIDE”: 139 and 63 kilometres long, respectively. They both begin and end on Bundesplatz (Parliament Square) in Bern. On your bikes, get set, go!
