The 38 kilometer long main route will be entirely closed to traffic and forms the centerpiece of this ride-along festival. Cycle in a clockwise direction, and mount and dismount anytime and anywhere.
The municipalities of Bern, Gümligen, Allmendingen, Worb, Rubigen, Münsingen, Belp, Kehrsatz and Köniz-Wabern, together with private individuals, local associations and businesses, are organizing a varied festival program on the theme of cycling diversity.
Families, keen cyclists, foodies, seniors and people with disabilities are welcome to spend an unforgettable day with, on or beside a bike along the main route or in one of the many festival zones.
“Hallo Velo!” starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Entrance to the festival is free, and bicycles can be transported on BLS lines free of charge all day.
