Museums in the summer? You are spoilt for choice! From museums to castles, parks and gardens: On Saturdays in August museums and cultural institutions in Bern are opening their doors free of charge. Admiration, astonishment, touching and feeling, new experiences, all these are possible on a modest budget.

This initiative is aimed at the general public, and particularly at families and young people. It is organized by the Association of Bern Museums with support from Migros (via the “Migros Kulturprozent”) and the Bern Civic Community.
