ESPHM - European Symposium of Porcine Health Management

The 12th European Symposium of Porcine Health Management - ESPHM 2020 - will take place from 29th of April until 1st of May 2020 in Bern, Switzerland.

This annual meeting, in the particular year jointly organized by the European Association of Porcine Health Management - EAPHM, the European College of Porcine Health Management - ECPHM, and the University of Bern, is intended to bring together pig veterinarians from all over Europe and other parts of the world, as well as scientists and partners from the industry.

The three-day lasting event empowers valuable opportunities for networking and fruitful discussions between researchers and practitioners. The scientific program is comprised by keynote lectures including round table discussions with well-known specialist in the field of porcine health management. Oral and poster presentations complete this part of the program characterized by its distinguished scientific level and the practical implications of the content. In-between the sessions, participants can re-create in the marvelous space of the venue that will also accommodate an exhibition area for our industry partners and sponsors.

A welcome reception on the evening of the first day allows attendees to enjoy the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace of the Kursaal towards the Berner Alps while having a drink together with colleagues and friends. On Thursday evening, a farewell dinner in the Kornhauskeller - the most impressive dining venue in Bern being used as a vine cellar in the past - concludes the social program of ESPHM 2020.
