The nation’s best boxers have been gathering in Bern on St. Stephen’s Day every year since 1969. The event has been a fixture in the Swiss boxing scene ever since and has seen some of the most important names in the ring, including legends such as Ritz Chervet, Mauro Martelli, and Yves Studer. The most famous fight undoubtedly took place in 1971, when Muhammad Ali got into the Boxing Day ring.
