The Kambly Experience

When a delicious smell fills the air above the green Emmental hills, you must be getting closer to the Kambly factory in Trubschachen. Gourmets big and small help out with the baking – and fill their tummies while doing so.

Everyone in Switzerland knows Kambly’s “Goldfish” snacks and “Bretzeli” cookies. If you’ve never had them, head to Trubschachen in the idyllic Emmental region to try these and over 100 other baked delicacies at the Kambly Experience, the showroom and shop of the Swiss biscuit producer Kambly. You will find yourself in the land of milk and honey (and butter and chocolate) – and admission is free!

Baking and Decorating

Learn the art of confectionery in one of the many workshops

Filling their tummies with delicious biscuits is not the only thing visitors can do in Trubschachen: at the show bakery, they can watch the Maîtres Confiseurs work their magic every day.

If you’re feeling inspired, there are different workshops where baking aficionados learn the art of making fine biscuits. The group classes (for up to 28 people) are especially popular: they’re a creative activity for families, clubs or companies.

Teenagers and children from the age of six can do some baking, too (every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon from 2:20 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.), or even celebrate their birthday at Kambly: for 5 francs per child, there is a decorated party table, a freshly baked Bundt cake from Kambly’s bakery, syrup for all the guests and a surprise present for the birthday child.
