The architecture of Restaurant Süder exudes charm and attractiveness. Until the 19th century, the “dr Süder” was Bern’s old southern station. The high rooms bear witness to former times. The attractive garden terrace is an oasis of calm in the district.

The service is attentive and uncomplicated, and the cuisine is honest and fresh with no unnecessary flourishes. The market’s constantly changing produce is used to prepare primarily regional dishes. However, the restaurant also offers moments of creativity and diversity, astounding guests with unusual ideas and exotic produce. The restaurant has a small, select lunch offering: three menus which change daily and a section from the evening menu.
