Rafting down the Aare

Whether you opt to go DIY with a rented raft or on a guided rafting trip, floating down the green-blue waters of the Aare river is a unique experience.

Rent a raft

Enjoy the longest route from Thun Schwäbis to Bern Marzili. You can pick up your inflatable raft and the equipment included with it (paddle, life jacket, dry bag, route map) in Thun Schwäbis, about 20 minutes from the Thun railway station. After a brief instruction session, enjoy a relaxed and interesting day along the Aare. Choose from various Aare raft types – from the inflatable Canadian canoe for two people to rafts for six to ten people.

    The classic tour From Thun Schwäbis to Bern Marzili, with lunch on the way (barbecue buffet directly at the Aare on request), total duration approx. 5 hours (with lunch).
