The ViaJacobi forms part of the Camino de Santiago which crosses Europe and leads from Lake Constance to Geneva, passing right through Switzerland in 33 stages.
From the Bärengraben, one of the iconic landmarks of the Swiss capital, the thirtieth stage of the ViaJacobi leads to Kehrsatz. The route starts to ascend to Niedermuhlern, and then continues to Rüeggisberg. Walkers are provided with many opportunities to catch a glimpse of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains above the forest.
