There is a grand tradition of stopping off for a bite to eat at Diagonal, as what was then the Pressecafé was already welcoming visitors in the 1980s. The bar has been called “Diagonal” since 1993.
The name says it all: Diagonal wants to connect people from all walks of life. Students and politicians, employees and journalists, civil servants and bankers, pensioners: it is a place where both young and old feel at home. This goes for any time of day, whether it is for a breakfast coffee, business lunch or after-work beer.
As well as classic brews, the bar also has plenty of exceptional beer creations fresh from the tap. Fans of mixed drinks can choose from a large cocktail menu with an interesting selection that includes a constant supply of new creations. The food is freshly prepared, organic, and made using regional produce wherever possible.
