Flying down a wild waterslide, floating along in the river bath, jumping into the icy cold-water basin or having a water battle on a pirate ship: Bernaqua is fun for the entire family. There’s a large section for toddlers with little slides and paddling pools for the little ones, while the older siblings whiz down one of the largest covered slides in Switzerland.
There’s a Waterslide for Everyone
When it comes to the waterslides, the names say it all: “Magic Eye” is fun for accompanied children from the age of four, the “Emotion Ride” is an emotional rollercoaster and the “Black Hole” is completely dark and disorienting – nothing for the faint hearted. Aaaaah! If you prefer a calmer experience, you can swim in the (interior and exterior) pools or relax in the brine bath.
Fitness and Workouts
At Bernaqua, there’s excellent infrastructure for physical well-being. Athletes can let off steam – and even enjoy a spontaneous workout: over 70 group and (aqua) fitness courses are open not only to members, but also day guests.
From nutritional advice to personal training, you will find everything a healthy body could ask for. And if you want to train not only your body, but also your mind, you can book a session with the mental coach.
Relaxation and Romance at Bernaqua
A sauna landscape with a Kneipp installation invites visitors to relax, and the Asian spa offers a whole spectrum of calming therapies: from aromatic oil and Thai massages to peelings. Or do the two-hour bathing ritual in the Roman-Irish bath, which will leave you feeling completely relaxed.
If you’ve overdone it and feel like you need a detox day, this is the place to do it. And if you’re feeling romantic, you can book a “Me and You” package, which includes everything from a welcome drink and a meal to a massage.
