Bern Youth Hostel

From March 29, 2018, Bern Youth Hostel in Marzili has a new look – but the same unique location between the Parliament Building and the Aare.

Bern Youth Hostel has been welcoming guests and friends for 60 years. Now it has become worthy of the capital: Following a complete refurbishment, this historic listed hostel will be reopening in the spring of 2018, and be even more inviting than ever. Guests can take advantage of a state-of-the-art redesign, a bright extension with seminar room, and a cozy garden seating area. As before, you can plan activities over lunch or beneath the trees. You are just a short walk away from attractions such as the Parliament Building with its 26 fountains, the BearPark, the Einstein House, the Clock Tower (Zytglogge) in the historic Old Town (part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site), and various shopping possibilities. The famous Marzili river pool and the Aare river, inviting visitors to swim or go rafting in its clear turquoise water, are also just five minutes away.
