Tour de Suisse

The first two stages of the Tour de Suisse 2019 lead through the Emmental valley. The idyllic region in the heart of Switzerland with its gently rolling hills is ideal for cycling – whether you’re a pro or recreational biker.

“Emmental Rundfahrt” Circular Route

The Emmental Rundfahrt impresses cyclists with its gorgeous route and is definitely worth participating in. Even those who prefer to ride their mountain bike are taken care of!

Emmentaler Bike Challenge

These routes lead over splendid hills with breathtaking views of the rolling Emmental valley and the Alps as they cross the region between Langnau, Wasen and Trub.

Hallo Velo!

On 18 August, everything makes way for bicycles in Bern and the Aare and Gürbe valleys. This bike festival with an entertaining event program takes place along the 38-kilometer vehicle-free core route between Bern and Münsigen. From a bicycle ball and bike orienteering event to workshops and bike tests, there’s something for everyone.

Race for Life

Bike riding to fight cancer! It’s time to swing astride your bike during the Race for Life and raise as much money as possible for people with cancer and cancer research in Switzerland. It doesn’t matter if you’re on a road bike, tandem, mountain bike or e-bike – taking part is what counts.

SlowUp Emmental Oberaargau

SlowUp is what they call these amazing vehicle-free days that are held all over Switzerland. The recipe is simple: You take around 30 kilometers of roads with attractive surroundings, close them off to vehicles for an entire day and ensure that there is an entertaining lineup of events along the route.

L’étape Switzerland by Tour de France

Be a pro for a day! Amateur cyclists can ride a stage of the Tour de France route under the same conditions as the tour riders. Participants can become part of the legendary race between Bern and Interlaken.

“Radquer-Weltcup Bern” Bern Radquer World Cup

It’s the return of the Radquer World Cup to Switzerland – or more precisely to the capital city of Bern. A spectacular show for young and old alike takes place over an entire weekend on an incomparable route around the “Weyerli”, the largest outdoor swimming pool in Europe. There are many attractive side events as well.
