The youth hostel is located in the castle itself and overnight guests can visit the museum for free to experience history up close – by day or night! Cleverly combining the past and the present: the building may be 800 years old, but the interior is modern and the new beds guarantee sweet dreams.
There are double, family, four-bed, and six-bed rooms. The six-bed dorms are furnished with triple bunk beds. Every bed has a little curtain so that the guest can have their own small hostel-style space.
At lunch and dinner time, gourmets enjoy the menu of the day or tasty à la carte options at the castle's spacious restaurant.
All guests staying at the youth hostel are given free admission to the castle museum, the Museum Schloss Burgdorf, for the entire duration of their stay.
