Just a 10-minute tram ride from the train station, you’ll find the cosy and stylish Becanto. Brunch is ingrained in this little restaurant. In 2023, they won the «Best Brunch in Switzerland» award. Every day from Wednesday to Sunday, they serve a hearty breakfast. If you don’t feel like leaving this charming place right after breakfast, you can order a round of their refreshing mimosas and enjoy the sun on the terrace.

Now, let’s talk about the important things: the menu. It’s not only delicious but also has many vegan options. You can get classics like avocado toast, or fluffy pancakes with various toppings, but you can also order colourful bowls, and tasty croissants with different fillings. If you’re extremely hungry you can get one of their buns, a sort of breakfast burger. In short: this is breakfast heaven. Also make sure to leave some room for dessert, so you can try their excellent cinnamon buns.

And on Sundays, it’s almost mandatory to go for a walk afterwards. Luckily, the Könizbergwald (forest) is very close-by. If you take the path through the Bümpliz underpass, you can also discover some streetart on your way there.
