With nearly 13,000 participants, the Swiss Women's Run is the biggest on the European mainland. The race covers a distance of five kilometers, and participants can race in various categories, including walking.

This mighty onslaught of women finally outgrew the Neufeld Stadium, the original venue; so, since 2005, the race has been held in the center of Bern. The Swiss Women's Run is an annual event for the whole family.
